The coronavirus is a virus that is making people very ill and is deadly. This virus has already killed 1,115 people and there are almost 60,000 cases of the virus. This deadly outbreak started in China and began on December 31st. The virus has been confirmed in 28 countries already.  Because of this virus outbreak, many people are not outside of their houses and the streets are empty. Anyone out of the house would most likely have a face mask on. Another problem is that not many grocery stores are open so when one opens a ton of people go shopping so they can go get food for their families, causing more potential outbreak. On February 12th there was a cruise ship in Japan named the Diamond Princess, that had a contagious passenger, now all of the passengers are vulnerable to the virus. The captain said that they will test everyone for the coronavirus and if they are negative they will let them leave. Another issue is Vietnam has placed an entire community on lockdown to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus after reporting the country’s 16th confirmed case. Coronavirus symptoms include a runny nose, cough, sore throat, possibly a headache and maybe a fever, which can last for a couple of days. Even though there is widespread coronavirus the Tokyo 2020 summer Olympics game will still be going on.
