Michael Jeffrey Jordan, nicknamed Air Jordan, was born on February 17, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York. At a young age, his family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. Michael Jordan is a professional basketball player who played for the Chicago Bulls and the Washington Wizards. Jordan won six championships with the Chicago Bulls in (1991-1993, 1996-1998). Michael Jordan is considered the best basketball player of all time.

Michael Jordan was drafted in 1984 as the third-pick in the first round of drafting. He started out his career with the Chicago Bulls and won six Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards, fourteen NBA All-Stars, and even Rookie Of The Year. Michael Jordan missed out on most of his rookie season due to a broken foot. Despite this, Jordan averaged 33 points per game. He even scored 3,000 points in a single season, making him the second best player after Wilt Chamberlain, who was the first to score 3,000 points in a single season.

In 1994, Jordan retired from the Chicago Bulls and wanted to try baseball. He played for the Birmingham Barons, a minor league baseball team based in Birmingham, Alabama. After striking out with baseball, Jordan went back to the National Basketball Association (NBA) and played for the Washington Wizards, but retired shortly after. Michael Jordan now owns professional basketball team the Charlotte Hornets, and will forever be known for his exceptional basketball talent.
