The Eagles defeated the Patriots, 41-33 for the first title in franchise history.On the game-winning drive, Foles marched his team 75 yards before an 11-yard touchdown catch by Zach Ertz in then took multiple steps with the ball after securing the pass, dove over the goal line and lost control of the ball while going to the ground. He secured it again, before it made contact with the ground, in the end zone.The play was ruled a touchdown and the Eagles took a 38-33 lead with 2:21 remaining in the game.The NFL has promised to clear up the catch over the offseason.

The Eagles had the most fourth-down conversions this season at 20. The decision to roll the dice on fourth and 1 from their own 45, Nick Foles completed a pass to the tight end ertz to keep the drive alive. It was Foles to Ertz again with 2 minutes left a diving 11-yard TD from the tight end that put the Eagles back on top for good. And that’s how Super Bowl 52 came to a close.
