On Sunday, Feb. 18 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles the 2018 NBA All Star Game will take place. Last year the winning team was rewarded with 50 thousand dollars. This year the winning team gets 100 thousand dollars. This year they are also changing things up, instead of having East vs. West, one person in each conference with more all star votes than anyone else in the conference will be a captain and can draft any other all star regardless of conference. The captains are LeBron James, and Stephen Curry.


Team Lebron has had three players that will not play because of injuries, DeMarcus Cousins, John Wall, and Kevin Love. Paul George, Andre Drummond, and Goran Dragic Will replace these three players. The starters are Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, and DeMarcus Cousins, but because DeMarcus Cousins is hurt he will be replaced with another player. The reserves are LaMarcus Aldridge, Bradley Beal, Andre Drummond, Paul George, Kevin Love, Victor Oladipo, Kristaps Porzingis,John Wall, and Russell Westbrook.   


Team Curry currently has no players that our injured. The starters for team Curry are Stephen Curry, James Harden, DeMar DeRozan, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Joel Embiid. The reserves are Damian Lillard, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, Kyle Lowry, Klay Thompson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Al Horford.
